Set a Bid Board Project as a Template

important! TOOL name is determined by dictionary

The Bid Board tool is also known as Portfolio Planning when the Procore for Owners point-of-view dictionary is configured for your company's account.

The following words used in this article will also be different if you have implemented the Procore for Owners point-of-view dictionary:

Objective

To to set a Bid Board project, also known as Portfolio Planning, as a template in Procore.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions
    • 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the company's Bid Board tool.

Steps

Set a project as a template

  1. Navigate to the Bid Board tool in Procore.
  2. Locate the project you want to set as a template. 
  3. Click the project name to open it.
    Note: You can set the project as a template from any of the sections on this page.
  4. Click the vertical ellipsis icon-ellipsis-vertical.pngicon  at the top of the page.
  5. Select Set As Template or Set As Default Template

    A green bar will show at the bottom of the screen to confirm the project was successfully set as  template. 

unSet a project as a template

  1. Navigate to the Bid Board tool in Procore.
  2. Locate the project you want to remove as a template. 
  3. Click the project name to open it.
  4. Click the vertical ellipsis icon-ellipsis-vertical.pngicon  at the top of the page.
  5. Select Unset As Default Template or Unset As Template
    A green bar will show at the bottom of the screen to confirm the project was successfully unset as a template.
