Below are the notable changes to the project's Crews tool in 2018.
Updated the Employee List in the Project level Crews Tool to add messaging information to explain why an employee name is not included in the list.
Updated the Project level Crews tool to remove the sidebar and to move the orange buttons into a "Create" and "Reports" drop-down menu in the top right corner.
Updated the Project level Crews tool so users can now add 'workers' (e.g. craft workers, temp laborers, and seasonal employees) to the project's Crews tool without an email address and the 'workers' will then be automatically added to the Field Productivity tools Employee list. See Add a Worker.
Updated the Project level Crews tool so it is now possible to create a crew without designating a crew lead. See Create a Crew.
Updated the Project level Crews tool so you can now delete a crew when editing a crew. See Edit a Crew.
Updated the Project level Timesheets tool so you can now select a crew when creating a timesheet. To use this option, your company account must be using Procore's Timesheets tool. These tools are part of Procore's Field Productivity product line. See Create a Timesheet.
Updated the Crews tool so that now, only users with 'Standard' level permission or higher on the Crews tool can edit a crew. See Edit a Crew. Note: Users with 'Standard' level permissions are ONLY allowed to edit a crew when they are designated as the Crew Lead.
A new Project level Crews tool is now available to Procore customers who have implemented Procore's Field Productivity product line. For information, see Crews.
