(Beta) Restart a Custom Workflow

Objective 

To restart a custom workflow already in progress on a project level item. 

Background

After a workflow has been initiated on a project level item, the Workflow Manager can restart the workflow if any revisions need to be made.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • To restart workflow on a project level tool for which a workflow has been started:
      • 'Admin' level permissions on the company's Directory tool. 
        OR
      • Users with the 'Can be Workflow Manager' granular permission on their permissions template.

Prerequisites

  • A workflow has been initiated for an item in a project level tool and is past its initial step.

Steps

Restart a Custom Workflow 

  1. Navigate to the Project level item containing the workflow.
  2. Click the vertical ellipsisicon-ellipsis-vertical.png, then click Restart Workflow.

  3. Click Restart to confirm that you want to restart the workflow.
