Below are the notable changes to the project's Models tool in 2022.
Coordination Issues Activity Tab Added to the Web Viewer (12/30/2022)
The model viewer in the Models tool on Procore's web application now includes an Activity tab in the Issues side panel. This allows you to view activity for coordination issues and send messages without needing to navigate away from the model viewer. New 'X-Ray' Mode Added to the Model Viewer (12/19/2022)
A new 'X-Ray' mode is now available for the Models tool on Procore's web application. See View a Model. X-Ray mode allows you to easily isolate and view specific objects in a model, without other objects blocking your view.
2D Views for Floors and Ceilings Now Available in the Procore iOS App (12/12/2022)
You can now create 2D views for floors and ceilings in the Procore iOS app. See Create 2D Views (iOS). This release also includes the ability to save a 2D view as a PDF file that you can share from your device.
Note: At this time, this feature is only available for Revit® objects. Support for other types will be added in a future release.
View All Properties for Objects in a Model (12/05/2022)
Procore has added 'Default' and 'All Properties' tabs to the Properties window so that you can view and search all properties when needed. See View a Model. Previously, only a specific set of properties were displayed, which are now shown under 'Default'.
View and Edit Coordination Issue Details in the Web viewer (09/28/2022)
The model viewer in the Models tool on Procore's web application now includes a General tab for coordination issues in the side panel. This allows you to easily review and edit information for coordination issues without needing to navigate away from the model viewer. Search Object Properties on the web viewer (02/15/2022)
A search bar has been added to the Properties window in the Models tool on the Procore web application. This allows you to search for specific object properties while viewing a model. See View a Model.
