Procore

2022

Below are the notable changes to the project's Bidding tool in 2022.

New Option for Bidders to Submit Their bid to Procore by email (08/17/2022)

Invited bidders can now submit a bid to Procore by replying to the bid invitation email with an attachment. See Submit a Bid. This means that bidders have an alternative to logging into Procore's Planroom tool to submit a bid, and bid submissions sent in this manner are automatically recorded in Procore. See Review Submitted Bids. This option is meant to serve as an alternative to bidders emailing a bid completely outside of Procore, where you would need to manually enter their bid on their behalf.

Bid management Enhanced Experience (Beta): Convert a Bid to a Subcontract or Purchase Order (08/17/2022)

Similar to the original Bidding experience, Bid Management Enhanced Experience now allows you to award a bid and convert it to a contract in the project's Commitments tool. See Award a Bid and Convert it to a Subcontract or Purchase Order.

Bid management Enhanced Experience (Beta): Company and project level opt-in for beta (08/17/2022)

The Bid Management Enhanced Experience beta experience can now be enabled by users at the Company or Project level, even for existing projects. See How do I update to the new bid management experience?
Note: Users with 'Admin' permissions to a project's Bidding tool can enable the experience at the Project level for that particular project. Only Company level Admin users can enable the experience for all projects in the account.

Bid management Enhanced Experience (Beta): level bids (05/19/2022)

For users in the Bid Management Enhanced Experience beta, you can now level bids for bid forms in the Bidding tool. This allows you to easily compare received bids so that you can more easily decide who to award a contract to. See Level Bids for a Bid Form for more information.

Bid management Enhanced Experience (Beta): create custom bid forms (05/19/2022)

For users in the Bid Management Enhanced Experience beta, you can now create and manage custom bid forms in the Bidding tool. Bid forms make it easier to break down scope and cost information and help to standardize the responses that are being received from bidders. In addition, the use of bid forms allows for bid leveling on submitted bids. See Create a Bid Form.
